Spring Cleaning Money Saving Tips

Spring is finally here, and you know what that means:  It's time for spring cleaning.  For most however that also means that you're going to be dropping some extra cash to refresh your home and yard this season.  Does that thought fill you with dread?  Are you prone to putting off your spring spending spree because your finances are saying six more weeks of winter?  No worries, We've got some savings tips for your home to prepare for a fresh start.

Changing Filters

One major money saver is changing filters.  The air conditioning filter will save you up to 5-15% on cooling costs if you change it two to four times a year.  You should also keep up with the dryer filter so as to keep it from overheating and drying at a less effective rate.  Whether it does or not, you can save by drying your clothes out in the sun if it's nice out.

Selling clothes

Need a good way to replace your wardrobe?  Sell your old spring fashion online!  It's better that simply storing it away because your profit can afford you some other spring cleaning costs.

Clean your Kitchen's Heavy Duty Machines

Make sure to invest in cleaning your fridge by dusting the coils.  You'll also save big with regular maintenance of your dishwasher, conserving water and energy.  Be sure to get debris from those hard to reach places for instance.  Keep your oven clean with a self-clean feature or a good scrub down

Host a Yard Sale

Nothing beats getting rid of junk like a yard sale.  You not only get to clear out some clutter, but you may have something that sells at a high price with the right person finding it.  Be sure to try online to sell whatever doesn't quite get anyone's attention.

What are some of your ideas?  We gave you a few of ours in hope that you can save, but be sure to let us know what you like to do to save money with your spring cleaning!  Be sure to register at our beta website at askshiftx.com to get premiere access to our new portal!

How rich can your rags make you? Why your no different than Oprah .

It really does not matter where you are financially, it matters where your headed. Shiftx believes in richer and wealthier lifestyles are achievable no matter where you are. Not convinced it can happen to you ?

Jim Carey , a once struggling janitor who worked along with his parents to survive through homelessness is now one of America's funniest comedians and worth 150 million , far from rags right?

Jay-Z started out as a kid on the street and had many tragic beginnings mentioned in is lyrics. Nope netw worth doesnt matter , but we'll mention it anyway. 500 million!

J.K. Rowling , the author of the Harry Potter series also came from a humble beginnings before success. Still not convinced?

Oprah Winfrey, now worth more than 2.9 billion also had a difficult childhood. She lived with her grandmother while her teenage mother searched for work. Relying on welfare and the little earnings Oprah's mother made, every day was a struggle for Oprah and her family.

You see it does NOT matter where you came from , nor where you are now, what matters most is where you headed. If these million and billionaires would have chosen to accept their circumstances, they wouldn't be where they are today.

Remember its not where you are financially, its where your headed. askshiftx.com
